Training classes are located at Lawton Farmers' Market, 77 SW 4th Street, Lawton, OK.
To register for a class, go to the Eventbright link on our homepage. Eventbright will charge a fee for enrollment. Please print your Eventbright ticket, which you will be provided at time of registration, and bring to the first night. The ticket will have the form your veterinarian will fill out for proof of vaccinations. All vaccines MUST be given yearly. A hardcopy of the rabies certificate from your veterinarian is required.

Paws with Love Therapy Dogs will be offering testing and observations for anyone who would like to test with their dog through Alliance of Therapy Dogs on September 11, 2023 or October 2, 2023. This is not a Therapy Dog class. This is a service that we will be offering and there will not be a fee for this service. You will sign up to test with your dog as a team on the date you prefer. This will be a 3 week process. You will test and do your first observation the first night. The two weeks after that, you will complete your other required observations to become a therapy dog team. You must enroll in one of those dates in order to secure a spot for testing as we are limited to how many teams we may test. Testing will begin at 6:30 pm and prior to attending, you must visit Alliance of Therapy Dogs website and read about becoming a therapy dog team. Your dog must be at least 1 year old, and you must have had at least a 6 month relationship with this dog prior to testing. You are required to pass a background check through Alliance of Therapy Dogs, and you must do this prior to the testing date you have signed up for. You will be required to show proof of a completed background check before we can begin your test. You must also print and complete your information on the test packet that is provided on the Alliance of Therapy Dogs website. A health verification that is included in the test packet will need to be completed and signed by your veterinarian prior to attending on the test date you have selected. Proof of a completed background check through Alliance of Therapy Dogs.
Completed Health verification signed by your veterinarian.
Test packet with all required information completed.
AKC Canine Good Citizen test is offered at the end of classes.
Paws With Love requires that all adult dogs have up-to-date Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and Bordetella.
Puppies need to have a minimum of 2 distemper parvo and 1 bordetella vaccine. All recently rescued dogs must wait 2 weeks after vaccinations to attend class.
